I can offer no help - i fail at exams - can not translate practical ability into sitting in a room answering questions.My skill is in finding out / working out what i don't know in order to fix a given problem. As i have learned practical knowledge over the past 4 - 5 years i now can plan ahead and mitigate many issues before they happen.

But this comes from experience.I have some MS Certs but on stuff i have worked with for years and already knew the vast majority before i picked up a book.My problem comes form learning something new from a book. I found the exam was not so much how to do things but it focused on what was new and what method is now preferable to how you would do thing s on 2008/2003I'll dig out some of the material i used and ping it over to you. There is also a good study group on linkedinYeah brought the bundle for all 3x exams and Second shot.I guess I've just hit a wall with it at the moment and whats frustrating is that when I have the server in front of me, its clear as day! In most exams I do and MS ones being no exception!If you have problems with exam taking (that is that you are not an expert at the process of taking exams themselves, subject matter notwithstanding) then I recommend the investment in a Brainbench subscription.

With that, you can make exam taking a part of your personal culture and do it regularly. Force yourself to take an exam each month, for example.

So have respect for anyone who passes these exams while still doing a proper job;)I find exams very stressful and usually avoid, but I was determined to get atleast 1 MCP certification and if I can do one then maybe 2.Its been hard work and at times I doubted myself alot. I would rather do a boot camp approach and exam on the Friday and get it done that way. (however way too much personal cost there and business not gonna fund it!).
