This compendium of digital exercises was found among the archives of Kostia Konstantinoff who, on his arrival in France via Germany from the Ukraine, continued his training as a soloist at the Ecole Normale de Paris Alfred Cortot, from which he graduated with a diploma signed by Cortot himself. It is therefore logical to consider this volume was part of the school curriculum in that time period.
