1 Refer-a-Friend $20 REI Gift Card Information: For the referring cardmember: The $20 Refer-a-Friend REI gift-card bonus is earned for each REI member you refer. You cannot earn a Refer-a-Friend bonus by referring someone who is already an REI Co-op World Elite Mastercard cardmember or an applicant who has been referred by someone else. Your REI member number must be included on the referred application for you to be eligible for the REI gift-card bonus. Six to eight weeks after the referred new account is approved, activated and used to make a purchase, a gift card will be mailed to your primary card's primary-applicant address. Your account must be open and in good standing to be eligible for the bonus. REI is responsible for the distribution of REI rewards.
