Got the 'special-offer' update-newsletter today. Should I be a happy customer now?To be honest, I think this is not a good deal. Or in more clear words: this is annoying me! I already paid round about 500.- Euro for V-Collection 2.0 and got 7 (good) VA-Synths.

Ok, so far, so good. A good bundle deal at this point. Then I paid 99.- Euro for SEM V when it was released. Which was ok for me again. But now Arturia lowered the prizes for their synths permanently and I have to pay 'only' 99.- bucks again. So my final V-Collection investement would raise up to 700.- Euro.

While new customers pay only 400.- Euro for the same products and get additionally 3 Synths + Analog Factory. Are you kidding me, Arturia?!Sorry, the actuall V3-Collection is a very nice gift for new Arturia customers, but for an 'old' one, who supported you a longer time, an update like this makes no sense.

Better said: an offer like this is more frustrating than satisfying. I completely agree with you on this bcbtoby.I'm being offered a $69USD upgrade from V2 to V3.I've already dropped over $3000 to you guys buying The Origin, Spark, Spark VDM, etc. Why should I have pay even more when you can't even stop chomping on baguettes and guzzling wine to reply to technical support issues in a timely manner, divert a REASONABLE amount of resources towards developing existing products towards the originally promised specs (ORIGIN, ORIGIN, ORIGIN!!).Besides dropping the Mg name from everything, what other actual improvements have you made from V2 to V3. Arturia, you sure as shit didn't earn the first $3000.00 I gave you, maybe try and earn this $69 for a change. Where is a simple list of upgraded features??? Yes, in short. The emulation is really good.

My favourite synths are the Jupiter 8, CS80, Mini Mg and now with the V collection 3, the Oberheim; which is amazing. The others are also great, but the above are my 'go to first' synths.I think VST users get a better deal than RTAS users (I use Pro tools), just because the integration is better with VST than it is RTAS and seems more stable. What i've recently started doing is using them standalone and recording them 'old skool' back into the DAW.With the laboratory o it's own you can only edit so far, once you have the collection there is a preference in laboratory to link to the original sound. So therefore you can truly edit the sound, also being able to use that edited instrument sound in it's original synth format. If you have registered products, the upgrade for €99 is a total no brainer.Stuart.
